Naturally they led to holes in the tube which were nearly impossible to find-even using water. These punctures would sometimes deflate the tire in a day or two, or even stop leaking at low PSI. WebbWhen you suspect that your tire is leaking, locate the place of the leak. If the hole or puncture is not bigger than 1/4 inch, you can use Fix-a-Flat. Bigger holes than this should be fixed differently. Once you’ve located the puncture, remove the cap of the tire valve. Get the Fix-a-Flat ready by shaking the can.

WebbCarbon rims are 25mm whereas the aluminum ones are 23mm. I've found that I can't get the rear to hold air for long periods now. It will go completely flat in about 24-48 hours. Front rim holds air as normal. I did the soapy water test and found that air seems to be leaking from the spoke holes. WebbPull back on the tool, and the plug should remain in the hole. Cut the excess plug with a sharp knife. Inflate the tire to the correct psi. Squirt soapy water around the plug and check for bubbles. No bubbles mean the plug is holding. Bubbles mean you have a slow leak still, and plugging the tire hasn’t sealed the hole.
