WebAfter tracing and debugging qmake.exe, I finally found the place where -fno-exceptions was configured. It is in the mkspecs\features\win32\default_pre.prf file in the Qt installation directory. There is this sentence in this file: CONFIG = rtti_off exceptions_off stl_off incremental_off thread_off windows $$CONFIG WebThrowing exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt. You must reimplement QApplication::notify () and catch all exceptions there.
